Assistive Listening Devices

The Hearing Loss Clinic is a major supplier of Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) and other communication devices for the hearing impaired. All devices are evaluated and recommended by our Audiology team.

Among the types of devices available are:

  • Infrared Systems for use with the television
  • FM Systems for both home and school use
  • Personal Amplification systems such as the Pocketalker T Pro
  • Amplified telephones such as the Ameriphone T XL40 with an alerting ring flasher and extremely loud ringer with adjustable tone control
  • Portable Telephone Handset Amplifiers for existing telephones
  • Safety Devices such as smoke detectors, strobe light and vibrating alarm clocks
